I got put on to Born Jamericans through Rap City on BET when they dropped “Boom Shak-A-Tack.” Now my West Indian roots are strong and I’m drawn in by Reggae riddims naturally.
What made these guys different was that they made some serious music. Familiar riddims and samples over some of the most honest and motivating lyrics I’ve ever heard.
This song doesn’t bring me back to any particular time, but makes me think of what’s to come and I hope I get the opportunity to share this with someone special sooner than later. Yes I can sing a little bit… (No Rainbow)
For now y’all blog lovin’ niggas can take this in. (No Rainbow) It’s call “Sweet Honey” and is about… Well it’s all about that girl that you love till all eternity…

Props to Mr. Notch & Edley Shine for putting some “snow flakes” in the video… I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. ===> WHITE GIRLS ARE THE FUTURE…
ENJOY!
“Time marches on , but our love affair is still going strong/ Lookin’ at your lovely face, it can stop any man in time & space/ But even if I had to walk through danger or sail the roughest seas/ YEAH YEAH!/ I’m gonna get my SWEET HONEY…” – Mr. Notch (Born Jamericans)
