Just listen and take in what Jeezy is saying… It doesn’t get any realer than this…

“We agree to disagree. We had a big shoot out. You’ll niggas talk too much. COME ON! KILL ME ALREADY! If I was you nigga, I would’ve done it already. My cell phone ringin’. My ice still blingin’. Fuck ya’ll I got money to get. Wassup!?!! -Young

OnCue’s Cuey Sings the Blues is truly something different to say the least. CT raised, Brooklyn transplant OnCue at 21 years old is quickly carving his own sound setting him apart from the rest. With melodic hooks, and honest (sometimes too honest) verses, CSTB shouldn’t disappoint. The tape overall borrows sounds from the likes to rock/alternative classics such as Third Eye Blind and Dave Matthews Band, but also utilizes sounds from indie favorites like Death Cab for Cutie, Sleigh Bells & Feist. At 15 tracks long, barely coming in under 60 minutes, and features from Nickelus F, Theo Martins & PUSH! Montana, CSTB might just be a one of the best projects you’ve heard in a while. Please add the mixtape to your website. As always, thanks for the support.

Today is a very cool day for me. The Unemployment Line is out and available for download on the site. I’m writing you all to get some placement on your respective online outlets as well as to just give you some music to nod your head to. Below is a quick breakdown of the tape and the characters featured on the skits. Feel free to download, pass it along to your friends, and share your thoughts on the tape. I put a lot of work into this to make sure it’s quality. Thank you very much for taking time out to read this email!

Synopsis:

Clark Kent: Age: 30. The Leader of The Coalition of the Willing. A rebel, a thinker, a creator, and a tinkerer. He is the one who challenges all comers, critics, and conspirators alike.

Hassan Fuckry: Age: 52. Unemployed. Still single at his age with no kids, yet is committed to the cause, and fighting the struggle. Rebelliously arrogant. He is the one who is unafraid, conscious, and a problem solver.

Scruffy McGhee: Age: 23. Single. No kids. Loves to party, flirt with beautiful women of all worldly ethnicities, and is a true kid at heart. Very creative. He is the one who enjoys a good time and a good time enjoys him.

The Unemployment Line is Executive Produced by Free-Scott Heron with the founding blocks laid down by New Day World’s own Devon. You’ll find eleven album cuts spotlighting the music that got me through a rough patch in my life with four ultra-hilarious skits penned by yours truly. The skits feature the vocal talents of Sudaara White, Sirita Wright, and Aziz Fall. The aforementioned characters all make up the man most know as Kevin L. Clark. The tape was created to highlight some memorable and infamous moments during my employment status in New York City. It has been my pleasure and honor to be able to keep you up-to-date with the latest in entertainment news and while the day-to-day operations finds me at the helm from sun up to sun down trying to feed you hungry heathens — there are a lot of people who help me out — and I want to take the time out to thank as best I can without boring you to death [laughs].
